安かった時にぽちった HP ML110G4 (Celeron D 352/3.20G)のCPUをCeleron 440に交換してみました。NEC 110Gd用とあわせて2個のCeleron 440を買ったわけですが、一つをPentiumEシリーズにすれば、もっと組み合わせを確認できたのにと多少後悔。

HP ML110 G4は、DDR2 ECC 512MBx2(PC-5300)を使用、OSは ちょっと古くUbuntu 6.10です。

BIOSはO10。

さて、換装です。マイナスドライバでグリグリ外して付け替えました。ファンは元々ついていたものを使用。

起動はスンナリ。BIOSでは、NECと同じく 「Celeron D 440 2.00GHz」と認識しちゃってますが、特に問題はないようです。
